At COQUOZ SPORTS, under the SALOMON franchise, we are offering a permanent position as a Ski Bootfitter / Ski Boot Technician for 39 hours per week.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The main objective of the role is to provide ski boots that are perfectly suited to the customer’s foot, ability level and expectations, while finding the best balance between comfort, precision, performance and safety.
The position also includes a commercial and versatile role within the store: advising on complementary products, sales, customer follow-up, receiving goods, stock organization and maintaining the workspace.
Thanks to our close relationship with SIDAS, you will be supported and trained in the various technologies developed by the brand, as well as in bootfitting techniques.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Expertise and Bootfitting
- Analyze the skier’s profile: level, type of practice, frequency, skiing style, and expectations in terms of comfort and performance.
- Advise on and select the most suitable ski boot based on a thorough foot analysis.
- Carry out the necessary adjustments, thermoforming and modifications in compliance with product procedures and technical specifications.
- Perform finishing and quality checks before handing the equipment over to the customer.
- Provide after-sales follow-up and identify any adjustments needed after use.
Advice and Sales
- Support and close sales through an approach based on expertise and high-quality advice.
- Recommend relevant complementary products: insoles, technical socks, accessories, protection, etc.
- Develop and retain a loyal customer base through personalized, high-quality service.
- Contribute to the upkeep and premium image of the boot area.
Store Management and Back Office
- Ensure restocking of the sales floor.
- Participate in product highlighting under the responsibility of the Visual Merchandising lead.
- Keep the workshop and work area clean, organized and functional.
- Help maintain an orderly stockroom.
YOUR PROFILE
Ideally, you have some initial experience in skiing, specialist retail or bootfitting.
Technical experience in ski boots, alpine skiing or ski touring is a real asset.
Above all, you are passionate about skiing and the mountains, and want to put that passion at the service of technical expertise and high-quality customer relations.
You are:
- Attentive and able to identify a customer’s needs precisely.
- Comfortable with technical analysis and finding tailored solutions.
- Able to explain technical concepts clearly and simply.
- Dynamic, autonomous and well organized.
- Comfortable in customer relations and sales.
You speak fluent French and have a good level of English. Any additional language is an asset.

Our workshop is equipped to make custom insoles and perform shell modifications.
We are looking for someone with a diploma from the Sidas Academy (minimum red level) or at least 2 seasons of experience as a bootfitter.
The role will include selling boots, insoles and socks, following up on sales and making adjustments if needed, managing stock in the department, as well as restocking and maintaining the area.
The position will also involve work in the rental department and the workshop.
